Yoga Retreat with Kristin Manjula Hilt

September 19- 22, 4:00pm – 2:00pm 


Imagine taking time away from the responsibilities of daily life to nourish your body, focus on your well being, and gain greater insight into what it means to be at your happiest and healthiest. At the Golden Light Healing Center, healthy, natural meals are prepared for you, lodging is comfortable and cozy, and the environment is peaceful and bright. Add to that a schedule of morning and afternoon practice, evening philosophy and learning, and a built in community, and you are set to experience relaxation, rejuvenation, and gain personal insight into your true self.  This three day retreat will emphasize finding personal fulfillment by exploring each of the seven main chakras through philosophy, breath work, movement, chanting, and sound healing. Kristin, of Breathe Yoga and Wellness Center in Janesville, Wisconsin will lead you through yoga practices, philosophy discussions and sound healing sessions. There will be opportunities for discussion, questions, and personal inquiry. Most importantly, there will be time and space to settle into an immersive practice of yoga in a serene environment with supportive community.  This retreat does not require any experience and is open to all. Physical yoga practices will be modified to meet various fitness and experience levels. She studied and trained with Baba Hari Dass and his senior students at the Mount Madonna Center in Watsonville, California where she completed her 200 hour teacher training and lived and worked for a year. Her teaching style incorporates traditional practices from Classical Hatha Yoga including breathwork, asanas, meditation, and relaxation. You will also see influences from her background in psychology, eastern philosophy, writing, and bodywork therapy in her style and delivery.
