Peru Shamanism Workshops with Jose Luis Herrera

This hands on training program is designed both for individuals who

work in the healing arts and those who want to develop tools to enhance or improve their own health. A unique compilation of ancient healing techniques, ritual, and traditions have been refined and articulated to conform to modern needs. You will study healing techniques and modalities from the Amazon, the mountains and the deserts of Peru. The focus ranges from developing a healthy cosmo-vision for our changing times to providing useful tools capable of elevating your genius and creativity.

The Energy Healing Training series draws methodologies and a rich body of

knowledge from the practices of the Pampamesayoqs, Altomesayoqs, and Akulleks. We include the rich healing practices of the San Pedro and Rainforest shamans.

• The Shaman’s Cosmo-vision of health and wellbeing

Using the Pampamesayoks’ scope of action and Cosmovision, we’ll explore the

mastering of elemental energies, the power of nature, and ancestors in healing. The Pampamesayoq is in a synchronous relationship with earth cycles and understands the Illas or fertility/wellbeing principles. He weaves the “enchantments” of the land into a Medicine Altar which becomes a healing map. The Mesa becomes an animistic mediator/

dynamo of energy and information for balance and healing. Through ritual the

Pampamesayoq tunes into the rhythms of creation to secure fertility, balance, and well being for all sentient beings. We deepen our understanding of the Ceke system or energy matrix which permeates all aspects of life, including our luminous templates. 

The Altomesayoq talks directly to the mountains spirits. They’re conduits of healing energies, information, and act as midwives for beneficial changes. We learn to generate direct experience with the lineage of Mt Spirits through ritual and ceremony. Our Mesas become portals for the lineage to transmit healing and knowledge. Luminous Awareness becomes our modus operandi and collective identity our source of being. Vision and dreaming are the Akulleq’s cornerstones for the universe is in constant flow of creation, fulfillment, and evolution. Rites of Passage or Karpays are axial to seminal transmissions of power and knowledge.

Pre-requisite: This training is offered to mesa carriers. 

Workshop Fee: $799 includes meals

Lodging Options: $75 camp, $150 shared cabin, $270 single cabin room + tax. 

Cabins have twin-beds with linen and towels provided. Cabin is heated & air conditioned and has electricity. Bathroom with shower a one-minute walk from cabin.
